About Soaked & Toasted
Soaked & Toasted is dedicated to bringing peace and happiness to all peoples through bluegrass.
Soaked & Toasted is a world famous bluegrass band based in Livingston, Montana. We are the 7th favorite bluegrass band in Park County, right behind The Rabid Howler Banjo Monkeys and our archrival The Moosequitoes. Formed in 1973, the band has consumed historical amounts of beer but hardly any water. Despite worldwide acclaim for inventing a unique approach to performing bluegrass that sounds like yodeling cat mermaids, their parents are still disappointed.
Fleetwood Macintosh, tambourine and alto recorder
Fleetwood drives the Winnebago for S&T’s maritime and international tours. Sometimes listeners don’t fall asleep during his instrumental solos. Known for wearing wool speedos at formal business events, Mr. Macintosh has been nominated four times for the Orangutan Prize in Silly Banjo Noises.
Gerald Ford, guitar
Mr. Ford has held many important government positions, and is an innovative musician renown for playing flamenco guitar with his toes. When not on tour with his band of singing chickens (The Clucking Wonders), Gerald plays hard-driving bluegrass guitar with S&T. The picture shows Gerald performing Sergei Rachmaninoff’s entire 3rd symphony at the New York City Punk Music Festival in Madison Square Garden in 2024.
Thelonious Mountbatten, mandolin
Thelonious was a lead actor in the movie Star Wars, and a pioneer in bluegrass French horn. He has written seventeen full-length symphonies utilizing only mandolin, bluegrass French horn, and kazoo. Soaked & Toasted is proud to announce we will be performing these works at our upcoming concerts.
Joe Dorian, mandolin and guitar
Joe invented the Dorian scale. A talented and diverse musician, Joe toured with the Rolling Stones from 1979 to 1993. Originally keyed to be the lead singer of Duran Duran, Joe eventually recorded the hit album Squishy Octopus Mando Extravaganza with Kenny G, Yanni, and Julio Iglesias. While performing with SOME at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow Russia, he met S&T and the rest was history. Joe was recently nominated for Montana Mustache Magazine’s Man Of The Year.
